Heather Kobus specializes in developing individual programs promoting healthy habits involving nutrition, body composition, functional movement, increased stamina, and encouraging habits that are life-changing. She believes that physical fitness is a journey that will continue to grow and change as the person’s life develops and changes. As a personal trainer, Heather guides her clients safely and effectively to their individual goals. Her approach is well-rounded incorporating many levels.

Heather has 25 years experience in the fitness and health industry and is an ISSA certified personal trainer. Other certifications include TRX, Les Mills group fitness, AFFA, Peak Pilates-MVe, and Precision Nutrition Certification. Before her career in fitness, Heather was a professional dancer, instructor, and choreographer. Heather not only inspires her clients to challenge themselves, she continually looks for ways to challenge herself personally. Recently she received 1st place in a National Physique Competition in the 35+ Figure Division, and 2nd place in the Open Figure Division of the 2014 Mid-Atlantic Classic. Heather created the Metabolic Circuits group class at Athlete’s Arena, which combines interval and resistance based training. By keeping your weights heavy and rest periods short, this challenging circuit-style workout will rev up your metabolism and turn your body into a fat-burning furnace!
