Pound

Pound combines cardio, Pilates, isometric movements and plyometrics with constant simulated drumming—all to loud, kick-ass music. An energizing, infectious, sweat-dripping workout, each strike of the Ripstix® releases a primal aggression as well as a neuromuscular reward of mixing sound and movement.

What's our boot camp like?

Join Athlete's Arena's Fierce Ladies fitness boot camp class in Irmo SC and get started toward a better you. You'll get stronger, feel self-confident and suppress the urge to overeat. You will be surrounded by a community of ladies who are like-minded and encouraging. Whether you are a first-time exerciser or an experienced athlete, you'll become a better you through our highly experienced instruction and inspiring group exercise classes.

This class is a total-body workout that focuses on every muscle group at an intensity that will simultaneously improve your cardiovascular strength and endurance.

Participants will experience a fun mix of boot camp style exercises that combine weightlifting movements, plyometrics/cardio, core work and stretching to build strength, endurance and flexibility. The wide variety of exercises and equipment will keep you on your toes and eager to see what is next.

All fitness boot camp classes are led by Leigh Sternenberg, a certified personal trainer. Leigh is passionate about helping others become stronger and feel confident through her safe, effective and fun, boot camp fitness classes. Leigh is passionate about bringing this dynamic and intensive program to provide women with a unique and unparalleled workout option.

Athlete's Arena also offers personal training, if you'd prefer more individualized support.

Fierce Ladies Boot Camp Weekly Schedule

Each week the Fierce Ladies class will alternate between five different training styles of exercise to ensure a well rounded workout through the week. Classes are tailored for women at all levels, from just getting off the couch to maintaining current fitness. The class works all muscle groups to help strengthen and tone muscles, and modifications can be made to each exercise to meet every woman's abilities.

In addition to the Fierce Ladies in-person group exercise classes, you will also have access to the Fierce Ladies Facebook Group where you will find additional value and support to guide you through your health and fitness journey.

When you work out at Athlete's Arena there is no membership fee, you pay monthly for the classes according to your own schedule.

Strength

Designed to give you the capability to take your fitness skills to the next level and build lean muscle along the way. Release endorphins, push yourself to the limit and watch your daily abilities grow as you get stronger with every session.

Torch

Time to take it up a notch and torch those stubborn fat cells in this high energy class. Torch is designed to keep your heart rate in the anaerobic zone to maximize the burning of stored fat cells.
